I have experience tutoring in-class for high school-level Earth and Space Science (CA state curriculum). Topics covered relating to space included basic principles of physics and chemistry, the Big Bang Theory, stars and stellar evolution, our Sun, and the planets. Topics covered relating to Earth included plate tectonics, water and nutrient cycling, evolution and Earth's geologic timeline, climate science, natural resource utilization and green alternatives, and human impact on Earth's systems.
Understanding the fundamentals of our planet and our solar system's history, function, and future is important for students to be familiar with as we move into a new era of green innovation and climate-related conflict. I have extensive knowledge of terrestrial and climate processes, reflected by my degree in Conservation and Resource Studies from UC Berkeley's College of Natural Resources.
